HILLCREST ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL
Zach Beshea is serving as Principal of Hillcrest Elementary School in Del Valle ISD since the Spring of 2022. We are fortunate to have a growth-minded educational leader that students, teachers, and community members deserve. He has served in education for 15 years, he was named the 2021-2022 TASSP Region 20 "Greater San Antonio Area" Assistant Principal of the Year. Mr. Beshea holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Education from Texas Lutheran University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. He believes schools need a leader who empowers and inspires students in the educational environment and the community, modeling how they can be world-class visionaries who navigate challenges and think critically.

Empathy, Equity, and Excellence will drive my vision at Hillcrest Elementary School. There are no limits to what any student or teacher can achieve at Hillcrest with a student-centered and growth mindset mentality. Family and community buy-in are essential to student success, and I encourage all stakeholders to make decisions for positive change. Being committed and passionate is an integral part of my life. Even though sometimes it is challenging when you are a school leader, seeing our students grow emotionally and academically is also rewarding. I am committed to innovative practices and collaborative efforts with all stakeholders. ALL KIDS CAN!
